Call for Public Consultations on the Draft Revised Rules of Procedure of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights

The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (the Commission) under Article 42 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights (the African Charter) is undertaking an initiative to revise its Rules of Procedure, which were adopted during the 47th Ordinary Session, in May 2010.

 

The Draft Revised Rules of Procedure were recently adopted by the Commission at its 25th Extra-Ordinary Session held in Banjul, The Gambia from 19 February to 05 March 2019.

 

As part of the consultative process, the Commission invites all State and non-State stakeholders to forward their inputs on the Draft Revised Rules of Procedure by 27 September 2019. This Draft can be found in English, French, Portuguese and Arabic versions:
